Weather Radios / All Hazards Radios take advantage
of broadcasts sent by NOAA. The National Weather Service continuously
broadcasts weather conditions and forecasts across the entire
United States. During times of severe weather and civil emergencies,
alerts can be sent to activate specially equipped radios. Most
recently, Amber Alerts have been added to the list of broadcasts
available with Weather Radios. See this
article from the New Milford Weather Center for more detailed
information about weather radios.
